Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park.

About the role:
The NASC Team Manager is a senior leadership role within the Community Health Service, responsible for leading the NASC workforce to deliver high-quality, client-centred needs assessment and service coordination. Working closely with clinical and service leaders, you will ensure practice is consistent, culturally grounded, and aligned with national standards and organisational priorities.
You will drive strategic and operational performance, oversee clinical, financial, and service outcomes, and support continuous improvement across NASC services. As a people leader, you will provide effective line management to team leaders, specialist roles, and triage clinicians, ensuring workforce resources are used efficiently and service delivery remains high quality and value-driven. You will also provide clinical guidance and operational support, contributing expertise to strengthen decision-making and promote safe, effective, interdisciplinary, reablement-focused care that supports positive client outcomes and independence.
Essential requirements:
- NZ Registered Health Professional with a current Annual Practising Certificate and NZ Professional body registration such as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Physiotherapist, Pharmacist or Dietitian.
- Full NZ drivers Licence
- Comprehensive clinical assessment skills
- Excellent verbal, written communication and computer skills
- 6 years or more experience working in a multi-professional, inter-disciplinary health or disability-related environment
- Be able to meet the demands of a fast-paced health environment
- Flexible working style and able to work across different settings
- Client and Whaanau focused
- Leadership/management experience
