Medical Staffing Unit Administrator - RMO Unit
- Based at Tauranga Hospital
- Fixed term position - 13 April 2026 until 31 December 2026 - 32 hours per week

About the Role
The medical staffing unit have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Administrator to join the team.
Some of your duties will include:
- Manage RMO Recruitment and onboarding
- Manage RMO Medical Council and immigration requirements
- Organise Rental and Accommodation
- Collation of credentialling start-up paperwork and processing this on appropriate systems
- Facilitate Orientation sessions
- Monthly Reporting
This is a fixed term, part-time position (32 hours per week), based at Tauranga Hospital, until 31 December 2026.

About the Team/Service/ Location
You’ll be joining a highly skilled, collaborative, and passionate team. The medical staffing unit is responsible for 256 Resident Medical Officers working across the two hospital sites – Tauranga and Whakatāne.
About you
Skills required for this role:
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage fluctuating workloads
- Ideally you will have experience within a hospital/medical industry
- A background in HR support
- Intermediate/advanced computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
