About the Role
Our Health Care Assistants support the healthcare teams and service activities in wards/units ensuring service delivery is always maintained.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Orthopaedic Ward is a dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing care to acute and elective Orthopaedic patients. We work collaboratively to ensure our patients receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care throughout their stay.
About you
As a Healthcare Assistant the following are required:
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Health Care Assistant in New Zealand
- A good command of verbal and written English
- The ability to work rostered 24/7 shifts, including weekends and nights
- The ability to work under direction and contribute effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Good customer service practices, with a friendly and patient-focused approach
- New Zealand Residency or Citizenship
