The Radiology Department at North Shore Hospital are seeking a permanent, full-time Radiology Assistant who can work  rostered shifts, providing support and assistance to Radiology clinical staff in the department.

You will ensure a high quality, customer-focused service is provided and will contribute to the overall patient experience within Radiology, taking responsibility for the patient flow process within the department. 

Duties include: patient care & transport, assisting Medical Imaging Technologists & nursing staff with imaging procedures, and supporting overall workflow management.

Radiology is a busy service, and this role will offer you work that is varied and interesting.

It's essential that you will have previous experience working in a healthcare environment, involved in patient care. You will also have good computer skills, and be a fantastic team player & communicator.

It will be an advantage if you have previous Radiology Department experience, and hold a NZQA Level 3 certificate in Care & Support or similar.
