The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people affected by cancer? Cancer Support is seeking a dedicated health / clinical psychologist to join our dynamic team. We work closely with patients and their whaanau from the early suspicion of cancer through to the completion of treatment, providing vital psychological support every step of the way.

At Cancer Support, our mission is clear—to enhance the experience of people living with cancer by addressing all aspects of wellbeing and promoting equitable health outcomes. As a psychologist in the team, you will deliver psychological assessments and interventions tailored to the unique needs of our patients. You will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely to remove psychological barriers to treatment and support optimal health outcomes. You will join a vibrant team based at Middlemore Hospital, including two social workers, an intern psychologist, and one other health psychologist. Our service operates across multiple locations to provide outpatient care, ensuring support is accessible to all who need it.
