About the Role
Come and join our team in General Medicine OPR2. We are a fast-paced ward, providing nursing care and interventions to Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation patients. The role requires you to work under the direction and delegation of the Registered Nurse. Successful applicants will be expected to be available to work a variety of shifts including night shifts.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Registered Nurses in patient care
- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living
- Provide a clean, safe and tidy environment for patients and staff
- Maintain stock levels and distributing supplies, linen, equipment throughout the ward

About you
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Previous experience working in a health care setting in New Zealand
- Current legal right to work in New Zealand
Preference will be given to those who have achieved health-related NZQA unit standards.
