Earn & Learn Programme Lead
- Location: Auckland City Hospital, Grafton

About the Role
Join Te Toka Tumai Auckland as the Earn and Learn Programme Lead, a key leadership role within Hospital Operations that will drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of workforce training programmes.
This role sits at the intersection of workforce strategy, education, and operational delivery. You will lead the coordination of multiple programmes, including Healthcare Assistants (HCA) Earn and Learn, Mental Health micro-credentials, and training across cleaning, orderly, and security services, ensuring they are delivered effectively, consistently, and in alignment with service needs.
You will work closely with clinical and operational leaders, education providers, and external partners to strengthen workforce capability and support positive outcomes for patients and whānau.

- Proven experience in programme management, coordination, or leadership, ideally within workforce development, training, or education
- Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex environments, building effective and enduring relationships
- Experience using data and insights to drive quality improvement and decision-making
- A commitment to equity and improving Māori health outcomes, with an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
- A proactive, collaborative approach, with the ability to lead, influence, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- Experience within the healthcare, public sector, or vocational education/training environments
- Project or programme management qualification
- Postgraduate study in management or a related field
- Experience in systems improvement, change management, or strategic planning
