Community Mental Health Nurse

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team, who has a passion for working with young people aged primarily 12-18 years old. This position will have a particular focus on young people who require intensive support in various areas of their lives.

About the Role

It is essential to have an ability to connect and build trusting relationships with a wide range of people from the community. It is preferred that the successful candidate has strong assessment and therapeutic intervention, specifically therapy skills. The successful candidate should also be able to work efficiently both independently and with other clinicians in our skilled multi-disciplinary team.

About the Team/Service/ Location

The Rotorua iCAMHS team is based in Te Aka Mauri, the Children’s Health Hub, in the centre of the Rotorua CBD.
