About the Role:
Are you a passionate paediatric nurse with an interest in clinical research and improving outcomes for Tamariki and whaanau?
Kidz First Research is seeking a Clinical Specialty Nurse to join our small, dedicated, and dynamic team supporting clinical research across the Kidz First Division. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative paediatric research that directly contributes to enhanced patient care and improved health outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Support the delivery of clinical research studies and trials within Kidz First
- Work closely with clinical teams to collate research data and support study processes
- Engage with and support Tamariki and whaanau participating in research, ensuring a whaanau centred and culturally safe approach
- Contribute to new and innovative research initiatives that advance paediatric practice
This 0.6 FTE position provides variety and flexibility, with opportunities to work across inpatient wards, community settings, and clinics.
About You:
- NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- 3-4+ years post registration paediatric nursing experience in NZ
- An interest in, or experience with clinical research (preferred)
- Full and clean NZ drivers licence
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with Tamariki, whaanau, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organisation skills with attention to detail and a collaborative approach
