The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated nurse to take on the pivotal role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our Cardiology team, based at Manukau Health Park.

We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to provide senior nursing support and leadership across our Cardiology module. You will work in partnership with nursing, medical and allied staff to ensure care and advice is focussed on the patient and their family/whaanau, in line with vision and values of Health NZ Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau; and underpinned with a family/whaanau centred care framework. This will include leading the PCA and Cardiac Tech workforce on a day to day basis and ensuring smooth running of clinics.

You will need to be able to develop good relationships and work effectively within a team framework and demonstrate a commitment to safe, quality patient care, innovation, risk management and effective resource utilisation. Your proven clinical leadership and excellent communication and interpersonal skills will contribute to achieving our vision of excellence in patient care.

About You:

  • NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • 3+ years cardiology nursing experience in NZ (post registration)
  • Relevant post graduate qualification
  • Minimum current Proficient PDRP
  • Excellent communication skills
