About the Role

In this role you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and ongoing success of Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) programmes across our district. In this varied and impactful role, you will work closely with frontline clinical teams to embed safe staffing practices, support data driven decision making, and ensure high quality patient care delivery. You will also contribute to maintaining accurate data collection and documentation within TrendCare, helping services respond effectively to changing demand and capacity.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive and evolving programme. Our district has been implementing CCDM for several years and is now expanding its focus to a more integrated approach that brings together Safe Staffing and CCDM components. You will be part of a broader, collaborative team working to ensure the programme is implemented efficiently and sustainably across services.

About the team / Service/ Location
This role will be based at North Shore Hospital.
Our team is dedicated to supporting clinical services through the effective implementation of CCDM and safe staffing initiatives. We work in partnership with frontline teams and organisational leaders to ensure workforce planning aligns with patient demand and service needs.
About You
As a Registered Nurse or Midwife, you will bring a strong clinical background alongside a passion for innovation and service improvement. We are seeking self-motivated, proactive, and forward-thinking individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment.
The following is required:
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with a current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams and stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, particularly in data collection and documentation
- Knowledge of health IT systems (including TrendCare) and analytical skills would be an advantage
- Self-motivated, innovative, and able to support change implementation effectively
