About the Role

As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will coordinate and facilitate education programmes that enhance clinical knowledge, skills, and professional practice within the ICU. You will deliver unit-based learning opportunities, support staff development, and act as a clinical resource, mentor, and role model for nursing staff.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand and holder of a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
  • A relevant postgraduate certificate or diploma
  • Minimum of three years’ recent acute intensive care nursing experience
  • Knowledge of adult learning and teaching principles
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support, coach and inspire others
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to enhancing team capability and patient outcomes
