About the Team/Service/ Location
Our small team [17 - 18 Clinical FTE] pride ourselves on a culture of whānau-centred care (family focused) and continuous learning. As our new Clinical (Nurse) Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering this positive environment while overseeing the delivery of specialized mental health support for community teams and the after-hours Acute Response Team. The manager role is based in Taupo (Taupo hospital campus), covering the Southern Lakes area (Taupo, Turangi & Mangakino). Although distinct from Rotorua-based Adult services the teams across the two towns work collaboratively to ensure seamless transition between teams as required.

About you
The Lakes Adult CMHA Clinical (Nurse) Manager position is designed for a registered health professional who has leadership skills, a passion and a vision for service excellence, the ability to respond rapidly and flexibly to change, strong communication, a team player, interpersonal skills, a passion for the Lakes Community and experience in operational management. Essential skills include:

- Promote Professional Development
- Ability to build strong relationships and integration across the sector
- Minimum of 5 years post graduate mental health & addiction clinical experience
