About the Role

We are looking for a Lead to support the clinical implementation of the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) within ICAMHS across the Waikato District. This role is suited to an experienced registered clinician working in the child and youth space with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing new initiatives. The primary focus of the role will be to work alongside the team at Whāraurau who are supporting our CAPA rollout, to ensure alignment with the international model and consistency across other districts in Aotearoa.

About you

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

  • Be a senior level registered professional with experience in working in Child and Youth Mental Health and Addiction Services 
  • Demonstrate clinical skills commensurate with training.
  • Understands and is committed to the Te Tiriti o Waitangi and knowledge of the implications on practice.
  • Takes responsibility for learning including effective utilisation of supervision.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, including how to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in your role.
  • Hold a current full driver’s license.
