About the Role

The Occupational Health Administrator supports the Occupational Health Team by managing administrative systems, coordinating meetings and clinics, maintaining records and supplies, and contributing to team projects. The role requires strong organisational skills, confidentiality, and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Waikato Hospital is a major regional hospital in Hamilton and is a leading tertiary teaching hospital located in Hamilton, New Zealand, serving as the regional hub for the Midland area, which includes the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairawhiti, and Taranaki districts. About you

The experience and professional requirements needed in the role are:

  • 5 years of experience in an administration.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with electronic file management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent time management with the ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks
  • Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
