We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
As a nurse in the Haematology Daystay team, you will be involved in treatment of malignant haematological conditions with a range of treatments and procedures. You will be offered many opportunities for continuing education, a full orientation and a supportive working environment. You will have an excellent orientation programme backed by lots of assistance from our friendly, experienced staff. A Haematology clinical coach works alongside staff to provide on the spot clinical teaching and support.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
To be considered for the position, you must have at least 3 years’ experience in an acute setting as a registered nurse. Haematology or Oncology nursing experience is preferred but not essential. Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills, high level of commitment and teamwork are essential in order to relate to and work with staff and patients at all levels and be successful in this role.
