Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Mental health professional to join our experienced team of clinicians at Kāinga Tiaki Community Mental Health Centre based in Eden Terrace, central Auckland.

Kāinga Tiaki Community Mental Health Centre provides a range of assessment and recovery focused treatment options for adults experiencing serious mental illness and severe psychological disorders. Our service provides high quality therapeutic interventions with a strong multi-disciplinary focus. 

We are seeking an experienced Clinician (medical practitioner, Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social worker, or Clinical Psychologist) with proven clinical leadership skills to work in partnership with the Clinical Team Leader and Leadership Team to provide high quality evidence based clinical services to our service users. You will have advanced clinical skills and be recovery focused with an ability to work collaboratively with our service users and their families. You will join an established supportive team of psychiatrists, nurses, allied health and clerical staff.

This position comprises: 0.8 FTE clinical / 0.2 FTE leadership.

Qualifications and Attributes:

· You must be a Registered Health Professional, with a current practicing certificate.

· You must have a scope of practice that includes mental health/psychiatry.

· You will be registered with the relevant registration body.

· A full and clean NZ driver licence is essential in this community-based role.
