About the role:

We’re on the lookout for a friendly, proactive Administration Assistant to support our Diabetes Retinal Screening service. As the first point of contact for many patients, your role will be essential in keeping our operations smooth and efficient.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Answering patient and staff enquiries via phone and email
  • Scheduling and booking appointments
  • Managing waitlists and patient records in iPM
  • General admin support to keep clinics running like clockwork
  • You'll be based at our Lambie Drive office and work 40 hours per week—Monday to Friday, 7am–3:30pm (with flexibility).

About you:

You’re calm under pressure, detail-focused, and love supporting others. You bring strong organisational skills and are confident using digital tools to stay on top of things.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration (especially appointment scheduling)
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Familiarity with iPM or other patient systems
  • Excellent communication—both verbal and written
  • A team-first mindset and a commitment to great time management
  • Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments

The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement.
