About the Role:
We’re seeking a dynamic Appointment Coordinator to join our busy, multi-disciplinary Gastroenterology team at Middlemore Hospital. This part-time role (24 hours per week, Monday to Friday) runs until November 2025 and offers the chance to be at the heart of the patient journey — from managing referrals and wait lists to welcoming patients and coordinating appointments.
What You’ll Do
- Accurately log and manage referrals
- Assist with procedure wait-list coordination
- Directly negotiate appointment times with patients
- Greet and support patients as they arrive in the department
- Be an essential part of a team that impacts lives every day
About You

- Excellent communication and administration skills
- A genuine passion for patient care and customer service
- A strong team spirit and proactive approach
- Experience with IPM and Concerto systems is a plus — but don’t worry, we’ll provide full training!
The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement.
