Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.

About the Role

We have six and twelve month fixed-term Clinical Fellowships available with Auckland City Hospital, Department of Women’s Health commencing in February and August 2027

You will have the opportunity to gain subspecialty experience in a leading tertiary referral unit. We are New Zealand's largest gynaecology oncology centre and a busy tertiary obstetric centre. As a result, you will be involved in the care of many complex cases from around New Zealand. This position is primarily clinical with sessions available for research and teaching. One fellowship is primarily obstetric anaesthesia, whilst the other is primarily perioperative medicine related to complex gynae-oncology procedures, though there is some overlap between both roles, which can be tailored to the interests of the successful candidates.
