About the Role
As a team administrator within the Medical Oncology Service, you’ll work closely with doctors, clinical nurse specialists, outpatient schedulers, and fellow administrators to ensure the smooth coordination of patient care and service delivery.
This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting regional recruitment and onboarding processes for the Medical Oncology service, while also providing core administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include managing recruitment administration tasks such as scheduling interviews, coordinating reference checks, and maintaining timely communication with candidates.You will work closely with hiring managers, Recruitment Consultants, and applicants to ensure each recruitment process runs smoothly and efficiently. In addition, the role manages the administrative components of staff onboarding, including setting up system and IT access, organising equipment, scheduling orientation, and ensuring a warm and well-structured welcome for new team members.
The role requires excellent organisation, communication, and relationship management skills to ensure that both workforce and clinical service coordination needs are met.

About You
- As an experienced administrator, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in recruitment coordination and/or administrative roles - Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and videoconferencing platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams)
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and data entry
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment
