About the Role
Health New Zealand/ Te Whatu Ora – Lakes is currently seeking a full time staff member (40 hours per week) to join a supportive, inclusive and whanau focused workplace. Experience with the delivery of outpatients or community based Occupational Therapy services is required with experience in neurological rehab required. The caseload is varied with the need to deliver outpatient rehabilitation in a clinic setting, alongside community based rehab with sub acute patients within the community setting. The position is based from Rotorua hospital.

About you
We are seeking someone who is or has the ability to be accredited in the following areas:
- Basic and Complex Housing Modifications.
- Personal care and household management.
The preferred candidate has:
- A wide clinical knowledge base with experience in neurological rehabilitation
- Proven ability to work autonomously as a community key worker.
- Client centered and able to work well within a Maori world view – Te Ao Maori
- Able to support Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora key objectives.
