About the role
You’ll provide safe, effective and patient-focused ultrasound services across our busy hospital and community settings. Working as part of a multidisciplinary Radiology team, you’ll perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, ensuring a high standard of diagnostic imaging and care. You’ll collaborate closely with Radiologists and registrars, contribute to teaching student sonographers, and support continuous quality improvement across our service.
About you
We’re looking for a Sonographer who is:
- Qualified with DMU or an equivalent recognised postgraduate sonography qualification
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB), and hold an APC
- Skilled in producing high-quality diagnostic images with a commitment to patient safety and comfort
- A strong communicator and team player who thrives in a busy, dynamic environment
- Committed to ongoing professional development and culturally responsive care
- Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, gynaecological or obstetric ultrasound would be an advantage, but we also welcome applications from newly qualified Sonographers
