About the Role
The primary function of this position is to participate in and maintain an efficient, high quality Ultrasound Services for Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau:
- Perform appropriately requested examinations, producing quality images in accordance with good professional practice and the relevant protocols.
- Ensure that all statistical information is entered into the Radiology information system in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist with supervision, support and education to other sonographers including students within the service.

About you
As a Sonographer in our Radiology Department, you will need to have:
- A recognised/accredited academic qualification
- NZ Registered Medical Radiation Technologist in Ultrasound
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Recent ultrasound experience within a radiology service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
