About the role
The Paediatric Dietitian team are seeking an experienced paediatric dietitian with proven clinical competence within the clinical area (renal and senior cover). The primary purpose of the role is to provide optimal nutritional care for babies, children and adolescent inpatients and outpatients.
This is a permanent, part-time (0.3 FTE) position.
About the team
This role is part of our dedicated team of 22 paediatric dietitians co-located with the Auckland City Hospital team of dietitians. Our team, which is part of Starship Allied Health, is driven by providing a high-quality clinical service across New Zealand, based at Starship Child Health.
About you
We are seeking someone with the following attributes:
- You will be a New Zealand registered dietitian and have a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Have a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience in paediatric dietetics
- A minimum of 2 year paediatric dietetics experience within the area of specialty (renal and senior cover)
- Credentialling to prescribe parenteral nutrition
