About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Wairoa Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a range of acute and rural health services. No two days are the same in this dynamic rural hospital setting – you will provide hands-on clinical support, respond to acute situations, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for our community.

About you

As a Registered Nurse, you will bring:

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work independently
  • A genuine commitment to rural health and community-focused care
  • Demonstrates clinical competence and sound judgment in diverse healthcare settings.
  • Is committed to continuous professional development and upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.
