About the Role

 The Variance Response Management (VRM) Nurse will provide optimum care utilising nursing knowledge and skills to patients in those areas of the hospital where they have identified a response required via the Hospital at a Glace Screen (HaaG). The area response required to and/or those tasks will be variable according to the needs of the hospital at any given time, in conjunction with the Duty Nurse Manager (DNM and wider IOC team).

The VRM Nurse portrays a positive image of Te Whatu Ora Taranaki at all times to staff, public, patients and clients.

About you

As a VRM nurse to be a desired candidate:

  • Recent nursing experience
  • Ideally engaging in Post Graduate studies
  • Ideally a strong focus on patient assessment
  • Acute New Zealand hospital nursing experience
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Motivation and self direction
  • Be committed to self directed learning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate
