Registered Nurse - Pre-assessment

About the Role
Pre-assessment is undertaken before any diagnostic intervention for bowel screening participants. The pre-assessment nurse works with participants who have returned a positive test to meet their needs and those of their family/ whānau using contemporary nursing care, which is safe, appropriate, and effective. The care is based on comprehensive assessment, ensures continuity, and is patient/consumer centred, culturally sensitive and evidence based. Some after hours work is required to best meet the needs of participants and their family/ whānau.
Candidates will have a minimum of three years nursing experience and previous endoscopy experience is preferred, but not essential.
