About the role
We are seeking a Registered Staff Nurse (Immunology) for a fixed term (12 months), part-time (0.2FTE) position at Starship Hospital Day Stay Unit. This position requires a proficient or expert registered nurse who has previous paediatric experience and experience managing reactions and anaphylaxis.
This position has a specific focus on desensitisation to peanuts in the outpatient setting. The successful candidate will case manage the cohort and have strong communication and assessment skills.
About you
To be successful you will have:
- NZ Nursing Council registration with a current Annual Practising Licence
- Advanced or expert clinical practice experience
- Paediatric experience
- Experience managing reactions and anaphylaxis
- A commitment to bi-culturalism in relation to the Treaty of Waitangi
- Commitment to providing excellent care
