About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and highly skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. You will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care using your advanced clinical skills. You’ll be working with state-of-the-art equipment and have access to ongoing professional development and support. About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 1–2 years of recent experience in ICU or a similar acute setting
  • Advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • A commitment to delivering culturally safe, patient-focused care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A calm and resilient approach under pressure
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow professionally

Postgraduate study in critical care nursing or a commitment to completing it is desirable.
