About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Endoscopy team as part of the new Procedure Room 3 project. This is an excellent time to get involved in a service that is expanding to meet the growing needs of our community. You will be delivering patient-centred care within a gastroenterology setting, working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team to support patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
These are permanent part-time roles (4 positions available), with hours negotiable to suit your lifestyle and commitments. Whether you’re looking to return to practice, step into a specialised area, or take the next step in your nursing journey, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Endoscopy Unit provides high-quality care to patients requiring a range of gastrointestinal procedures. With the introduction of a third procedure room, we are increasing capacity to ensure timely access to essential diagnostics and interventions. You will be joining a progressive, inclusive, and patient-focused service within Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, where teamwork and collaboration are central to how we work.

About you
We’re looking for Registered Nurses who:
- Have a current APC and are registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Bring prior clinical experience (endoscopy or gastroenterology experience is advantageous but not essential)
- Demonstrate excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Are passionate about delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care
- Embrace teamwork and continuous learning in a dynamic healthcare environment
