About the Role
We are currently able to offer a Registered Nurses an opportunity to join us and work in Gastroenterology’s Preadmission clinic.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day work in the preadmission area. This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting and rewarding area of nursing, to deliver superior care to patients and develop your career. About the Team/Service/ Location
The Preadmission nurse works within the Gastroenterology team based in Ruakopito. You will be joining a team dedicated to ensuring the patients journey is streamlined from admission to discharge. You will you’ll collaborate with the MDT, anaesthetists, and our team of nurses to provide high-quality care and make a real difference in patients' lives.

About you
- A current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, with evidence of meeting continuing competence requirements.
- Be working toward, or holding a current portfolio assessed via an approved Nursing Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP)
- At least five years of clinical nursing experience is desired, notably with experience in preadmissions or an outpatient setting.
- A commitment to teamwork with an ability to participate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
