Registered Nurse Flight Team 0.5 FTE permanent (positions up to 0.5 FTE will be considered)
We require registered nurses with at least 5 years’ experience in acute care (emergency/ICU/CCU) to join our nurse lead flight team in sunny Gisborne flying patients to and from our tertiary hospital and other hospitals and clinics around New Zealand.
Essential attributes are:
• Registered Nurse with a current APC
• Current Advanced CORE (or ACLS) certificate
• Requirement to complete further training specific to flight nursing and other relevant courses
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
• Proven communication and excellent physical assessment skills
• Ability to work independently with patients and whanau across the lifespan with complex health needs under the direction of our medical director
