Registered Nurse Faster Cancer Treatment Tracker and Coordinator

About the Role
As the Faster Cancer Treatment (FCT) Tracker and Cancer Coordinator you will:
Monitor and validate patient pathways using the Cancer Care System to ensure patients meet national waiting-time targets.
Liaise with referral coordinators, CNSs, booking teams and MDM coordinators to identify and resolve delays.
Prepare and support multi-disciplinary meetings, contribute to audits and reporting, and help identify system bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Provide clinical nursing care and work collaboratively across the interdisciplinary team to support safe, timely patient journeys.

You will be part of the Cancer Team, reporting to the Cancer Team Lead, based in Rotorua. About you
Essential:
- Relevant graduate nursing qualification and current NCNZ registration with APC.
- Recent hospital clinical experience and strong computer skills.
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to Māori health gain.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation, confidentiality and relevant health legislation.
Desirable:
- Experience with cancer pathways, waiting-time standards, or data entry and reporting.
- Postgraduate education or professional affiliation in oncology or care coordination.
