About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic, nurse-led Pre-Assessment Clinic (PAC) team with a focus on Endoscopy Pre-Assessment.
In this vital role, you will be the clinical bridge for patients preparing for scheduled endoscopic and planned care procedures. You will perform advanced clinical health assessments, ensure patients are safely prepared for their procedures, and provide critical education to patients and their whānau regarding pre-operative instructions.

The Medical Day Stay and Endoscopy Unit is a dynamic, co-located service offering a shared staffing model. Our multidisciplinary team delivers high-quality diagnostic and infusion care, supporting patients with acute and long-term conditions. Cross-training and professional development are actively supported.

About You
You are a clinically sharp, detail-oriented nurse who thrives on autonomy but loves working within a tight-knit team. You possess strong communication skills, an empathetic approach, and a desire to dismantle barriers to health equity.
What you will bring:
- Current NZNC registration and Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum of two years’ clinical experience, ideally within surgical, endoscopy, perioperative, or outpatient assessment environment
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment
- Evidence of, or willingness to work toward a PDRP portfolio
