About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead two pivotal services — Support Net (NASC) and the Bay of Plenty Community Care Coordination service — at a time of exciting system transformation across Aotearoa. You will help shape how coordinated care is delivered for people with complex medical, physical, and disability needs across the Bay of Plenty region.
In this leadership role, you will make a meaningful impact by influencing equitable care pathways, strengthening integrated models of care, and supporting our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
As the Regional Manager Support Net & Community Care Coordination, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership for both the NASC service (Support Net) and the Bay of Plenty Community Care Coordination Service (BOPCCC).
You will:
- Oversee six major funding streams and ensure effective allocation of services for people across Bay of Plenty and Lakes
- Lead service development aligned with Enabling Good Lives, restorative approaches, and the keeping Me Well programme
- Guide integrated, person‑ and whānau‑centred support pathways
- Build strong relationships with NGOs, iwi providers, government agencies, and Community organisations
- Champion continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery
- Ensure equity, Te Tiriti obligations, and Māori health gain remain central in decision making

Support Net and BOPCCC operate across Tauranga, Whakatāne, and the Lakes region, providing essential assessment, service coordination, and community care navigation. You’ll join a collaborative, highly skilled team of health professionals dedicated to improving equitable outcomes and strengthening community-based support.

About You
You will bring strong leadership capability, strategic thinking, and extensive experience in health, disability, or social services.
What you will bring:
- A relevant postgraduate qualification in social services, health, or management
- Proven leadership and service management experience in a large organisation
- Demonstrated experience implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
- Extensive knowledge of disability and community support systems
- Experience in service development and cross‑sector partnerships
- A full NZ driver licence
You will be able to:
- Lead people and build high-performing teams
- Work collaboratively with sector partners and iwi
- Demonstrate strong professional integrity and accountability
- Make evidence-based strategic and operational decisions
- Support Māori- and Pacific-led approaches to improve equity
