About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist to join our team at Mental Health and Addictions Service. You will be responsible for greeting patients on arrival and updating appointment systems, answering incoming calls and general administrative functions supportive of the reception role.
The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the National Health Administration Workers Collective Agreement. Additional benefits include kiwisaver contributions (if eligible), professional development and wellness support.

About the Service
Mental Health and Addictions Service has physical locations across the Waikato rohe. This role will be physically located at the reception of Henry Rongomau Bennett Centre as part of our Acute and Forensics service however may move to other locations where reception roles are required.
About you
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
- Adaptable with a willingness to embrace multitasking. Excellent communication skills are required and confidentiality is essential.
- Competent computer skills with previous reception or administration experience.
- It would be advantageous that you have had previous experience working within a health/mental health setting.
