About the Role

As the Radiology Regional Delivery Lead, you will lead the operational delivery and service planning of radiology services across the Waikato region. This is a pivotal role in implementing the Regional Radiology Delivery Plan, improving access to radiology services, and driving performance uplift across hospital and community settings.

You’ll work closely with national and regional stakeholders, including clinical leads, service managers, and commissioning teams, to unify service delivery and reduce variation in clinical practice. This is an exciting opportunity to influence system-wide change and contribute to the national Diagnostic Boost Programme.

About the Team

Our Regional Programme Office is focused on delivering integrated, sustainable, and equitable health services. You’ll be part of a collaborative team working across districts to improve radiology access and outcomes for all communities. You will develop strong links with the Regional Radiology Clinical Lead and radiology service managers across Te Manawa Taki’s 5 districts, supporting a regional approach to resource allocation and service planning.

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification.
  • 8 to 10 years’ senior operational/service management experience in healthcare.
  • Proven experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
  • Strong strategic thinking and operational planning skills.
  • Experience in leading change, performance improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of quality management, programme/project methodologies, and health system strategy.
