About the Role
As a Radiology Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Radiology clinical team at North Shore Hospital. Working rostered shifts, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient patient flow within the department while providing exceptional support to Medical Imaging Technologists and nursing staff. This is a varied and hands-on position that directly contributes to enhancing the patient experience through compassionate care, assistance during imaging procedures, and department workflow coordination.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced hospital environment and wants to be part of a team making a difference in people’s healthcare journeys.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Previous experience working in a healthcare environment with a focus on patient care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – a true team player
• Good computer literacy and ability to manage administrative aspects of patient flow
• The ability to assist with patient transport and provide hands-on support during imaging procedures
• NZQA Level 3 certificate in Care & Support or similar (preferred)
• Previous Radiology Department experience (an advantage)
