Radiologist - Abdo/Pelvis

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Abdo/Pelvic Radiologist to join our Radiology department here at Waikato Hospital.
Day to day you will be interpreting and reporting imaging studies including CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray and MRI. You will be reporting a broad mix of complex clinical cases within your area of expertise, including hepatobiliary/pancreas, urology, gynaecology, gastrointestinal diseases. Your workload will also include general radiology and acute imaging.
You will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, teach registrars, and be involved with the continual development of high standards within the department.

- Reporting Radiologic studies
- Supervising and teaching registrars
- Participation in oncology multidisciplinary meetings

Waikato Hospital is a tertiary training hospital with a Level 1 Trauma Centre serving the whole Waikato region: one of the busiest in New Zealand. The Radiology Department carries out approximately 200,000 examinations each year with a major focus on Emergency and Trauma imaging and Oncology. Waikato Hospital is in the heart of Hamilton city, a vibrant and welcoming community with a reasonable cost of living and easy commute. Hamilton is handily located within easy reach of other major cities, including Auckland and Tauranga, making it a great base for exploring New Zealand on weekends and holidays. About you
- Experience in Abdominal Radiology
- Experience in CT Colonography
- Experience in Male and Female Pelvic MRI
- O&G Imaging preferred
- Eligible for Registration as Specialist Diagnostic Radiologist with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Subspecialty fellowship or interest in body imaging preferred
