About the Role
We are seeking a Quality System Support to join our team. This role is central to the implementation, administration, and training of quality systems (e.g. Datix, ICNet, incident, feedback, and audit platforms).
You will:
- Deliver training, onboarding, and guidance for system users.
- Provide user support, documentation and resources.
- Enable timely, accurate reporting for senior leaders and governance groups.
- Identify opportunities to improve system workflows and support governance processes.
- Collaborate with the Data & Intelligence team, Senior Project Manager – Clinical Improvement, and regional/national partners.
- Support high-quality data capture, analysis and use to inform decision-making and system improvements.
This is a dynamic, system-focused role that contributes directly to improving quality, safety, and equity across Te Toka Tumai Auckland.

About You
To succeed, you will bring:
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in health, quality, IT, data or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting health-related or quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of clinical quality, safety, and improvement principles.
- 5+ years’ experience in analytical roles; 2+ years in Business Intelligence development.
- Experience with PowerBI or similar reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, training, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to bicultural practice and achieving equitable outcomes for Māori, Pacific, and diverse communities.
Desired:
- Experience in a complex health IT environment.
- Familiarity with Datix or other health quality systems.
- Business intelligence certifications.
- Project support or change management skills.
- Exposure to quality improvement techniques
- Understanding of adult teaching/learning principles.
