About the Role

As a Quality & Patient Safety Unit Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work with patients, their whanau, QPSU team members and hospital wide staff to always promote a quality improvement agenda.

You will be able to use your administrative and/or coordination skills and experience

You will be able to liaise directly with patients and their whanau regarding their hospital experience.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of Quality & Patient Safety unit is made up of a QPSU Coordinator, QPS Advisors, Risk Advisor, Medication safety advisor and Infection , Protection Control staff.

About you

As a Quality & Patient Safety Unit Administrator you will require;

· Relevant health or disability sector experience with knowledge of health sector systems coordination, customer services, complaints management and/or incident management processes,

· Evidence of training or self-directed learning in relation to quality and patient safety systems and quality improvement methodologies.

You will also need to be;

  • Self-motivated, be able to motivate and influence others and be able to demonstrate credibility in administration / coordination duties
  • Flexible and able to adapt and adjust your own behaviour and strategies to meet departmental and organisational objectives

· Able to communicate complex information and be tactful, diplomatic, authentic, facilitative and realistic;
