Permanent, part time (40 hours per fortnight)

Mon-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm (actual days/hours by negotiation)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Psychologist working with children and whanau (0-15 years old) and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Health New Zealand Lakes (Rotorua and Taupo). The Lakes Child Development Team is a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Speech Language Therapists and Therapy Assistants working across the Rotorua and Taupo area, providing specialised developmental assessment and support for children aged 0-15 years.

About you

  • NZ Registered Psychologist with current annual practising certificate (APC)
  • At least two years’ experience working in the Child Development or similar space
  • Training and experience implementing psychometric tools (e.g. WISC-V, ADOS-2)
  • Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team
