About the Role

An exciting and challenging opportunity has opened to grow and extend your neuro assessment and therapy skills at the Hawkes Bay Hospital.  Working within both our acute neurological and rehabilitation wards, you will gain a unique perspective of patient care across the inpatient journey. We are seeking a professional person who actively demonstrates our hospital values in everything they do.

About the Team/Service/ Location

You will be part of a diverse and supportive team working in partnership with patients, whānau, and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high quality, culturally safe, patient-centred therapy for our community.  You will be part of the wider allied health and physiotherapy teams, developing leadership and service development skills in your role.  You will have access to regular in-service training, special interest working groups, and learning opportunities to develop your clinical skills.  Our Physiotherapy Professional Lead supports your growth and promotes the physiotherapy service throughout our hospital.

About you

We are looking for a Physiotherapist who:

  • Has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, or equivalent, with at least 3 years’ experience.
  • Experience in neurorehabilitation
  • Is New Zealand registered with current annual practising certificate (APC)
  • And is flexible, proactive, and eager to learn.
