We are looking for a resourceful, motivated and friendly pharmacist to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team. We are a supportive team providing a patient-focussed pharmacy service. This is a full-time, permanent position, based across two sites, North Shore and Waitakere Hospital Outpatient Pharmacies.

About Us
The Outpatient Pharmacy provides a full range of community pharmacy services. See Pharmacy Services | Waitematā | Te Whatu Ora • Healthpoint. In addition to providing healthcare to our regulars and hospital staff, we play a key role in supporting discharges for our inpatients, providing access to otherwise hard to find medicines, and dispensing prescriptions from the hospital outpatient clinics and emergency departments. We also offer a range of vaccinations for staff and whānau. Both sites are open Monday to Friday from 0830-1800 at North Shore and 0900-1800 at Waitakere. North Shore Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy is also open on Saturdays from 0900-1300. You will usually work Monday to Friday with some rostered weekend shifts.
We offer a range of training opportunities for staff and support continuing education. You will also contribute through training new pharmacy staff, pharmacy interns and students.
Waitematā’s Pharmacy Service employs 120 staff across several sites and is the country’s leading hospital for innovation and the introduction of electronic medication management systems including electronic Prescribing and Administration, electronic Medicines Reconciliation, Pyxis Medstations, eVitals and eNotes. About you
We are seeking a New Zealand Registered Pharmacist with excellent communication and time management skills, and the ability to interact well with all members of our community. You will have a current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate and preferably an Authorised Vaccinator, or working towards authorisation.
