- Hours by mutual agreement including some time outside of normal business hours
- 0.2 FTE (8 hours per week), 12-month fixed term

About the Role
As the Outreach Coordinator, you will conduct outreach phone calls and messaging to increase participation in the Bowel Screening Programme. Your focus will be on priority populations; Māori, Pasifika Peoples, and participants from high deprivation areas.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Bowel Screening Programme is a free service for eligible participants aged 58 to 74. The programme is committed to saving lives by detecting bowel cancer early and ensuring equitable outcomes by improving participation among priority populations.
About you
You will be passionate about screening to improve population health. The ability to communicate effectively with priority populations is essential. As the ideal candidate for this role, you will possess the following qualities;
- Committed to achieving equitable health outcomes through culturally appropriate approaches
- Professional and friendly telephone manner, ideally with call centre experience
- Accurate data entry
- NCEA Level 3 or equivalent
- Proven ability to work independently
- Ability to converse in another language is desirable
