About the Role
As the Nurse Specialist you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team who is committed to delivering quality care and navigating the patient and whānau through their healthcare journey. Your day to day role will involve patient care coordination, education, clinical expertise & teaching to patients & staff.
This is a great opportunity to work autonomously and as part of a supportive senior nursing team.

About you
Ideally you will be a nurse who has already obtained your Level 4 practice expertise as a minimum along with knowledge and experience in Surgery, advantageous with experience of OMS nursing including head & neck cancer care, wound care and minor procedures under IV Sedation. A Masters or a Post-Graduate Diploma would be an advantage.
About Team
The Oral & Maxillofacial Head & Neck Cancer Nurse Specialist is an advanced nursing practice role working with OMS team and Regional Head & Neck Cancer Service at Te Toka Tumai Auckland working across multiple hospitals.
OMS is a small yet important regional service within Health NZ caring for patients with Head & Neck Cancer, congenital malformations, oral pathologies and facial trauma.
