Clinical Nurse Specialist for Patient at Risk Team, Te Toka Tumai
· Permanent position available, 0.8 FTE,
o Monday – Sunday, rostered 12-hour shifts

The Nurse Specialist role works within Patient Management Services and the Patient Deterioration programme; the work is varied and fast-paced.
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We offer a role that is responsible for acute care of deteriorating patients. The role includes clinical assessment, leadership, escalation to senior decision makers, collaboration with stakeholders, liaising with whanau, response to emergencies (as part of the rapid response team), and education and support for ward-based kaimahi. We have an amazing team environment where new skills are learnt daily.
Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
· Significant recent acute nursing experience
· Specialist knowledge & management of complex conditions
· Excellent people and communication skills
· Able to work collaboratively with different teams within the hospital
· Post graduate qualifications, preferably to master’s Level are preferred
· You will be competent in the use of IT systems
· Current NZ Nursing Council registration and APC
