About the Role
We are looking for an experienced people leader to provide comprehensive operations management across a range of corporate administrative functions.
This leadership role would service the Te Tai Tokerau district, with home being Whangārei Hospital. Primary functions of the role are:
- Provide operational leadership and continuous improvement for all district-wide patient scheduling functions across Te Tai Tokerau
- Ensure timely, equitable access to care and full compliance with national performance standards, including ESPI
- Manage other administrative support functions for the organisation, including Clinical Coding, Transcription and Customer Services ensuring comprehensive support to all business units throughout the district
- Provide management of quality indicators, audit and data quality processes
- Lead investigation and resolution into risk incidents
- Ensure aligned processes, quality, and excellent customer/whānau experience

About you
- Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of the health sector
- Comprehensive knowledge of administrative functions and processes
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Skilled in producing, interpreting and presenting complex information
- Experience reporting to groups and leadership bodies
- Confident communicator, able to convey key information to diverse audiences
