About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse to join the Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) team as the project lead including the releasing time to care (RTC) quality programme for nursing. In this influential role you will be responsible for:

  • Building on the CCDM and safe staffing programme including data integrity, improvement, and evaluation that drive FTE calculations for the District inclusive of areas that do not have TrendCare
  • Expert in TrendCare processes supporting and providing leadership to wards and services
  • Driving quality initiatives that improve patient care, staff wellbeing, and nursing excellence
  • Building strong relationships across teams including wards, services, union partners and safe staffing unit
  • Contributing to a health system that upholds Te Tiriti o Waitangi and advances equitable outcomes

About you

Important Skills

  • Be safe staffing focused and have a genuine interest and commitment to quality and service
  • Expertise in CCDM/RTC and quality or project work
  • Have proven clinical leadership and management skills including data informed decision making
  • Have the ability to promote effective teamwork and collaborative relationships within the team and across health services
  • Be a Registered Nurse with current APC
